Yamanote Atelier is a Japanese bakery born in the UAE. It strived to showcase the beauty of Japan through colourful baked goods and beverages – but needed a brand that reflected the same.
Upon auditing the brand, I realised that they were clearly in need of a unique library of graphic elements as well as a strong, recogniseable tone of voice. So, some Japanese words that sound familiar to an English-speaking audience were introduced, along with cheerful colours and Japan-inspired patterns.
